Group Activity on Enhancing a Specific Course of the Participant's Choice

Purpose:

To start the process of FDI-stimulated improvement of education in CS.

Goals:

  1. To apply what has been learned in FDI to educational activities in CS.
  2. To form pairs of faculty who will aid each other in this process.
  3. To begin discussion in pairs and in the FDI group, of education improvement in CS.
  4. To identify efforts to discuss in the Continuous Quality Improvement sessions.
  5. To identify improvements that can be shared with the rest of the CS faculty.
  6. To identify improvements that may lead to university or sponsor-funded projects.
