1) Visual C++ 6.0 will be the compiler for the course. It was released by Microsoft today. We should get it in the next few weeks.
2) Tonight's Lecture will focus on the syntax of the software programs in the first five chapters.
3) Assignment for Next Week: Please concentrate your efforts on chapters 1-5 of the Savitch Book. Send me email on all parts of these chapters that you have difficulty understanding. I will cover these difficult parts of the book in next week's lecture.
