Introduction to Programming with C++

Thursday, May 27   

In the first hour, selected topics from Chapters 1-4 from Dale, Weems, & Headington and Chapter 1-3 of Walter Savitch will be mentioned and discussed.

In the second hour, we will go through the Program Design lecture slides.

In the third hour, we will go through the Fundamentals of C++ lecture slides.

Assignments

1) Complete assignments from Tuesday's class
2) Read as far as you can in the textbooks. Goal for the weekend: Read Chapters 1-8 in Dale, Weems, & Headington, and Chapters 1-5 in Savitch
3) Install a compiler this weekend if you havn't already done so
4) Try to compile and execute sample programs from the textbooks
