Receiving Messages

Now you will now check your mail to see if your test message came through.

Choose Check mail from the File menu.

You will be prompted for your email password. This is the password for your University PID. Type it in the box.

Eudora should now check the mail server and download your incoming mail to your machine.

You may see:: A box indicating no new mail.; A box indicating new mail.; An In mailbox with the first new message highlighted.; Nothing (the same as no new mail).

To see a new message, open it by double clicking on it.

If you did not receive the test email, you probably have configured something wrong. Go back and try it again until you get a test message.
