Virginia Tech hosts the Computer Science Teaching Center (http://www.cstc.org) and is helping lead the ACM Journal of Educational Resources in Computing, JERIC (http://purl.org/net/JERIC/). We want to make learning about computing easier and better. This project will involve surfing the Web and/or working with Web crawlers to find helpful resources on computing. Of particular interest are resources related to the topics of this course, so we can use those in following years.
Some of the tools to consider using are WebSphinx and spiders from U. Arizona.
Hussein Suleman has been working with CSTC and JERIC as GRA and so is a particularly helpful contact. Drs. Lee and Perez are both on the editorial board for ACM JERIC.
