This project aims to complete the porting of ENVISION by finishing its connection to MARIAN and other backends. Prior work was carried out by many students, most recently Subhag Oak, Fanye Cui (cuifanye@vt.edu), and then Ni Liu nliu@vt.edu. Some of the types of backends are those speaking the Z39.50 or OAI protocols. We also want to document and package it so that it can be used by other sites, including those involved in NDLTD.
Another effort is to add zoom in/out capability to Envision. This might be supported in part by students in Dr. North's class.
