1. because CPM-GOMS is overly detailed for serial tasks, it can underestimate execution time
2. quantitative prediction times are much shorter for serial tasks than the estimates for the other three models because CPM-GOMS assumes that the user is extremely experienced and executes tasks as rapidly as the Model Human Processor architecture permits
3. this is because CPM-GOMS is based on the Model Human Processor, thereby affecting the ease of learning CPM-GOMS
