OVERVIEW OF MOOSBURG WEB PAGES

In a screen full of information, the MOOsburg home page introduces the user to MOOsburg. It also provides links to other pages like "History", "Purpose", etc. which are vital to the users' understanding of MOOsburg. The opening screen takes the user to the login page, where the user can login to both the old as well as the new version of MOOsburg to see for himself/herself in which direction MOOsburg is headed. The login page also allows the user to spawn a text-only telnet session (telnet moosburg.cs.vt.edu:7777) if the user so desires. For the MOO novice, a link is provided to the common MOO commands with explanations to get the user started quickly.

The various pages contained within the home page inform the user of the purpose of MOOsburg, the history of MOOsburg (not yet implemented), the people involved in this project, a number of related projects, links to clients required for using MOOs, and links to servers and databases required for developing MOOs. It also provides documentation for users and programmers of MOOs. Finally, there a login screen to get the user into action.
