Conclusions
Based on the information gathered in the scenarios and claims
analysis, surveys, interviews, e-mails, and qualitative analysis,
we were able to offer some suggestions for the redesign of Nostalgia
and the addition of features to better enhance the site
and increase its use.
The amount of feedback we received from the users was somewhat
small, and we were somewhat disappointed in the number of
responses we received. We also found it difficult to contact
people due to the fact that their e-mail addresses were no
longer valid -- perhaps the guestbook we mentioned could have
helped us here. We also wanted do look at the access logs
of the site, but were unable to get a hold of them in time.
If given the opportunity to study Nostalgia
further, we would do an analysis of the information we could
obtain from the access logs and compare it with the information
gathered in the qualitative analysis. Perhaps then, we could
even go further and compare it with the Web Storybase and Historybase,
Nostalgia's two sisters.
