Dr. Carson E-mails Dr.Rosson
Dr. Carson, a retired doctor, hears about the Nostalgia site and its purpose.
He wants to write about a particular incident that happened to him and
his friends at the downtown post office. As his computer is not working,
he goes to the public library to use a computer there. He gets to the Nostalgia
site using the Web site address given to him by his friend. He clicks on
"Compose Your Story". He reads the contents of this page and does not want
to write his story in the text area provided. He prefers to send his story
via email, so he clicks on "drop us a line" link. He is presented
with Netscape's e-mail composition form. He is not familiar with this e-mail
feature of Netscape. He knows from past experience that all e-mails come
with a "from" address. He realizes that he is using the library computer
and does not know how to set the e-mail preferences. He asks the help
of the person incharge to set the computer to his e-mail address. After
the computer is set up, he types his story and clicks on the "Send" button
to complete his submission.
