Here are several possible scenarios for accessing the web from the notebook.
Clicking on the URL link button starts a fresh web browser which runs in the foreground and has, as its home page, the requested URL. Bob and Jenny can then read the article through the browser and return to the notebook by quitting the browser.
Clicking on the URL link button results in a browser page of the notebook being displayed. The article to be read is displayed on the browser page. To return to their previous page in the notebook Bob and Jenny must click on a Return to Previous Page button in the notebook button from the browser page.
Before clicking on the URL link button Bob places the bookmark on the current page of the notebook so that he can return to it quickly. He thens clicks the URL link button which takes him to a browser page of the notebook, reads the article which is displayed on the browser for him and, when done, returns to the bookmark.
Clicking on the URL link button brings to the foreground a web browser which had been in the background. After inputting the appropriate URL Bob and Jenny read the article and then place the browser back in the background.
