The ec Process Model

The following graph shows the ec process model. We have participated in the first test of the model along with some participants from various other professions.

The Data

The data has been collected over a period of about 60 days and is archived at the links shown below. This data was collected completely electronically using the following tools for communication and collaboration:-

(1) The Electronic Chat Forum- This is a HTML form on the web used for feedback on various topics (as visible in the process model above) as well as for comments and suggestions on various aspects of the process and the live, collaborative sessions that were held.

(2) The Collaborative Sessions- Each of the 5 participants had separate collaborative sessions using NetMeeting and DataBeam meeting tools with William Paul over a period of two weeks. The community for each of the sessions was the Jackson Ward Armory. Images of the Armory were part of these sessions along with a plethora of questions related to the design and improvement. DataBeam was used as primarily a white board tool to mark up the images being discussed and simultaneously NetMeeting was used as a tool for discussion using the chat feature.

The images and scripts from the DataBeam + NetMeeting sessions are archived as below according to the names of the participants:
