Final Scenario

Several weeks later, Tom turns on his computer to make some final corrections to a company report. While the computer is booting, Tom puts on his headset and microphone. The DragonDictate program starts automatically during the boot, so Tom simply gives the command [Bring Up Company Report] to open his report document. Since Tom wants to complete his concluding paragraph, he speaks the command [End of Document] to move the cursor to the end of his report. He types "Conclusion" and then gives the commands [Bold Word] and [Set Font 16] to emphasize the paragraph title. After Tom types several sentences, he remembers some previous data that he wanted to cite in the conclusion. Tom scrolls up through the document by saying [Page Up] until he reaches the data. He selects the data, gives the [Copy] command, gives the [End of Document] command, and finally gives the [Paste] command.

After finishing the conclusion, Tom saves the report by saying [Save File]. Next, he decides to listen to some music while he proofreads his report. He says [Bring Up Music] to start his MP3 player, and in a few seconds, his favorite songs are playing through his headset. Tom continues reading his report, and after a few minutes, he hears the arrival sound for new email. Tom says [Show Email] to view his new messages. The command brings the email program to the front and displays the first unread message. Tom browses the new messages and sorts them by giving the commands [Move to Friends] and [Move to Work] to transfer the messages to the Friends or Work folders.
