Our whole group learned from this experiment that Fretoes were extremely greasy and Pringles were not soon concentrated.
I would definatly try more brands of chips and also try different brand of paper towels. This would also be a good project to determine the power of the paper towels absorbtion.

Our prediction was that Lays brand potato chips would be the greaseist, but we found out in the experiment that Fretoes was the greaseist. This happened because Fretoes left a larger grease spot than any other brand on the paper towels. We should of looked at the amount of saturated fat in the chips before we made our hypothesis.

Blacksburg High School Results:
Note: From each brand of potato chips we selected 10 chips of the same size. However we made each circle of broken chips 1\4 inches deep.
Wise potato chips: 6 inch diameter. The largest diameter grease mark from the Scott paper towels was a 1 inch diameter. The potato chips were pretty greasy and the grease was scattered sparenly. For every 1\4 inch there was a grease mark.
Pringles: 5 inch diameter. The largest grease diameter was 3\8" diameter. They were not very greasy. However the largest grease mark was 1\2".
Fretoes: 4 inch diameter. Was extremely greasy. The grease covered the entire area and even spread passed the chip line.
Lays: 6 inch diameter. The largest grease mark was 2 inches in diameter. These chips were very close to Wise potato chips in grease patterns, however they were greasier.
Doritos: 6 inch diameter. The largest grease mark on the Scott paper towels was 1\4 "The Dorito chips had the same grease pattern as Pringles, however the Doritos were slightly greasier.
The final results came in as such, greasiest to least greasiest.

We bought five different brands of chips: Fretos, Wise, Lays, Doritos, and Pringles. We used Scott paper towels for testing. Then, we found ten chips of the same size and crunched them together the same way each.
Fretos: The results were large and dense grease spots on the paper towel.
Wise: Were pretty much the same as Fretos, although Fretos grease spots were more dense.
Lays: There wasn't very many grease spots, except for maybe a couple but they were large marks.
Doritos: The cheese film off of the chips got in the way of seeing the grease spots. But there still were some that were noticable.
Pringles: Just a few little grease spots, probably from the salt on the chips.
