HCI (or other behavioral, experimental design, etc.) courses taken:
I took Models and Theories of HCI in Fall of 97. So far that is the only course either HCI, behavioral, or experimental design. I did take an art course in Basic Design which which dealt with design of everday artifacts.

Software development skills:
Right now, I'm really involved with the Math Emporium/CyberSchool Program. I design and implement online tutorials for matrix and vector algebras using Authorware. In the undergraduate OOP class, my partner and I designed and implemented a fairly complex Paint-type program very much like MSPaint. We used C++ and worked with a package called wxWindows written by a programmer in England.

Research interests:
I am very much interested in software engineering for educational and job training use. I think the use of virtual environments could play a huge role in this. I hope this course will help me become more involved with the VT CAVE.

Personal information:
I love to play my bass and I really get into music. I'm getting married on June 20, 1998 in Berkeley Heights, N.J. (just a couple of miles from Lucent Technologies). I'm originally from Va. Beach and I kind of miss the ocean. Blacksburg is great though!

Known schedule constraints:
I have class at 9 and 3 on M & W, at 11 on T/Th and at 9 on Mon.
