There appear to be numerous definitions on campus, coming from a variety of perspectives. In this session we will look at the traditional library and link it to the digital library, acknowledging as many of these campus perspectives as possible. Participant involvement will be encouraged. Biographical Sketch: Nancy Seamans is Co-Director of the New Media Center and Director of Media Services for the University Libraries at Virginia Tech. Previously she was Director, Learning Resources Center, College of Health Sciences, Roanoke, VA (1985-1997). She has a BA in Political Science from Virginia Tech (1976), and MSLS from UNC-CH, School of Information and Library Science (1978). Since 1996 she has been enrolled as part-time student in CHRE Instructional Technology doctoral program. Nan Seamans joined the Library at Virginia Tech in January 1998.
