DL Project Suggestion: Greenstone

• Number of people: 2-3
• Goal: To get Greenstone operational at Virginia Tech, and to make it interoperate with Greenstone.
• Contact information: instructor along with local staff Robert France (france@vt.edu) and Marcos Andre Goncalves (mgoncalv@vt.edu)
• Required background: interest in learning about Greenstone and collaborating with DL experts from New Zealand
• Description:

  This project would begin with installing Greenstone over the WWW, contacting the New Zealand (see www.nzdl.org) developers as needed. Then it would involve PhD students France and Goncalves in connecting Greenstone with MARIAN to achieve interoperability. The best reference is:
