The
Online Journal of CURRENT CLINICAL TRIALS
--- a joint venture of AAAS
and OCLC to distribute an electronic journal, with SGML-type text
along with many images, using OCLC's Newton search system and
GUIDON interface that runs on PCs.
TULIP
--- The University LIcensing Program --- originally between
Elsevier Science Publishers and 9 U.S. universities.
This effort to experiment with 42
journals about material science and engineering, distributed in page
image form, involves Virginia Tech working with OCLC, using a
modified version of the software applied to OJCT (see above).
Local trials for that began in 1995.
