In Spring 1995 a senior course on Multimedia, Hypertext and Information Access was launched at Virginia Tech, as part of a WWW CS hyperbase of over 25 courses. This course has over 300 nodes and over 700 links, using our Digital Library-supported Personalized System of Instruction (DLPSI) and is freely available over Internet. Work is underway to make use of the Hyper-G system and MOO/WOO technology. This presentation reports on course content and organization, pedagogical approach, iterative refinements made as a result of hundreds of student comments, and potential utility of these educational resources to the worldwide community of those interested in courses or training in MM.
