This site provides the public with access information on the Department of Defense and information on each military department and organization.  Also Provided is a link to the DTIC's Technical Reports Bibliographic Database, DTIC directories, and  the ability to search all STINET WAIS databases with one query. A special feature is the ability to download selected full-text technical reports from DTIC's collection. Some other services provided a locator to find information sources and the Potential Contractor's Program, that provides technical information support to companies, educational institutions and non-profit organizations with adequate R & D capabilities.  All features are open to the public without any registration except for the last.

All of this information will help users stay as current as possible in the aspects of research and development that the Department of Defense and other defense agencies are involved in.
