- Please change your password on any account you have related to
this course. There has been a security breach and this is urgent.
- MILIA (the International Publishing and New Media Market) conference
in Cannes, France, Feb. 9-12, 1997 wants students in multimedia programs
to present their projects. A representative from each project chosen
will have their travel expenses paid! Deadline is Nov. 15. Please see
the instructor if you want to apply.
- A new Kodak digital camera will be brought to class on Monday so we
can have online pictures for your home pages. Or, come to the office of
the instructor to have your picture taken privately.

which deals with contracts, final reports, and has pointers to other
helpful information.
- Remember to have a draft contract for class Monday Oct. 7.
- McB 110 now has a Pentium 90 with scanner, Adobe Capture, and
Jaz drive. More memory and a copy of Photoshop are on order
for it and the Mac Quadra (that also has a scanner).

- Groups that want to FTP files from NMC or elsewhere can request
an account on video.cs.vt.edu to use as storage. For those unfamiliar
with the UNIX software that runs there, see the
UNIX Use information from the course home page.
