The page changes monthly, and was designed based on usability studies.
Buttons at top stay the same each month. Note the use of one large graphic
to catch the viewer's attention, rather than many small, colorful elements
fighting for attention. Also note careful attention to use of color. Also
note approach of providing actual news (e.g., interviews) to attract readers.
Uses a carefully designed logo that is small but eye-catching. Uses
just 16 colors, but added blending with a photo-shop tool, to give it a
little life.
One flat color in graphics permit fast loading, even over a modem.
Lack of frames permits navigation even in simple Web browers. (Designed
