Extensive details are provided for the Exercise under Assignment 2. Please be sure to follow the instructions provided.
The first two are completed, and three more are scheduled. See details on the web pages for each, along with pointers for more information. Be sure to look at the relevant pages BEFORE each trip and also a few days after, when Study Questions will be finalized.

QUIZES
Quiz 1A has been put out and has been taken by some students. If you have not sent the instructor your quiz password, please do so before you are ready to take a quiz.
video.cs.vt.edu accounts
Everyone should now have an account there. Please setup a ".forward" file that has one line giving your preferred email address so that mail sent to you on video will go to your normal location for regularly reading email. Please copy the ".login" file of "~fox" to be your own ".login" so that you can use "harmony (Hyper-G)", "kms", "sqhm (HoTMetaL)", and "xprcedit". You are encouraged to use these from any lab where you can use an X terminal (e.g., McB 116) or where you have an account on some UNIX system with large display. Alternatively you can run them in Derring 2069 using the eXodus package.
This file has been extended to include all general WWW links on MM found anywhere in the course material, to simplify your searching.
