The Computing Center will open the lab as usual in the evenings. Otherwise the lab will be closed, except that the instructor will open it Friday 9:30-12 am and 4-6 pm as a special service. That will be your last chance to work in the lab and to ask the instructor for assistance before the final.
New, flexible rules on grading and turning in work have been instituted. Please read them! Crucial information about the final is given there! There is also mention of a special bonus that might be of interest and a promise about the A versions of quizes.
On 4/29 all of the materials needed by students was fully available. Thus, all quizes, study questions, exercises, etc. were in place. Additional online information will be provided to help with reviewing and to aid in quickly finding desired information. Thus, see the Index from the Table of Contents or under Link Sets.
The last class for the semester will be Wed., May 3 from 8:30-9:50 in Rand 129. Both the M/W and Tu/Th sections are encouraged to come. Videotapes will be shown about Virtual Reality and about the UCSD Multimedia Lab (demonstrating jitter, synchronization).
There is now a page image version of the CACM article on AHM. Also, the GTA will leave a number of copies of the Feb. CACM 1994 articles on Dexter and Amsterdam in Derring 2069.
