Kaleida Information on the Internet - copied into course notes
Developers with access to the World Wide Web (WWW) or File Transfer
Protocol (FTP) services, via the Internet, can now easily obtain
information about Kaleida and ScriptX. Kaleida publications currently
available include: a white paper on the key benefits of the Kaleida
platform; a ScriptX product overview; newsletters; and information about
the ScriptX Software Development Kit, ScriptX Training Seminars, and
Worldwide Developer Program.
In addition, Kaleida obtained permission to make available the article,
"What's Up at Kaleida" from Dr. Dobb's Developer Update, as well as the
RenderMorphics press release announcing their Reality Lab (tm) 3-D rendering library which will be used in future versions of ScriptX. Additional publications will be available in the future.
World Wide Web users can browse through this information by clicking the here. Of particular interest too are Questions and Answers,
Kaleida's FTP server contains many of these items in text files and
Postscript (tm) files for printing. FTP users can log onto "ftp.kaleida.com"
with the user-id "anonymous" and open the directory
"/pub/scriptx/general-info".
Developers interested in more information about Kaleida, ScriptX, or
Kaleida's developer programs can send e-mail to the Internet address
"info@kaleida. com". Feedback about Kaleida's World Wide Web and FTP
servers is also welcome at this address.
