Using On Guard, select the Applications menu and click on DIWE. You will get a screen saying

Daedalus Integrated Writing Environment
and can then find Ed Fox in the box for Your Instructor:. Click on that name and then click on Multimedia under Your Class:.

If this is your first time with Daedalus, select New User and then in the following screen fill in your full name, password and password again.

If you logged in before, select the right entry under Your Name: and log in with your old password.

You will see an untitled window, which you can close, and a number of menus available from the menu bar. Under Activity select Interchange. Type into the bottom part of the window and you are off and running!
