There are many activities to be done in the Laboratory for the rest of Unit
IN:
- Working with Storyspace and the hypertexts done with it or other Eastgate
tools;
- On the WWW, using a variety of search systems including Britannica Online,
MARIAN, WATERS, Dienst, Harvest;
- Reading about MIME which is the basis for multimedia mail and WWW transfer
of multimedia data;
- Studying about Hypertext in general and the WWW in particular;
- Investigating electronic publishing including SGML, the TEI DTD, Author/Editor,
RulesBuilder, HoTMetaL, HTML, HTML editors (and making a home page), PDF,
and Adobe Acrobat.
