Unfortunately, in order to create new levels you need a registered copy): http://www.idsoftware.com/ 2. The cs383 website where the quiz files are: (If you are using a shareware version of Doom, supposedly all you have to do is rename each *.wad file to doom1.wad. The wad files are the configuration files for each adventure/dungeon/quiz) http://www.eecs.usma.edu/cs383/doom/default.htm Official WAD Designers' Handbook, Release 2.0 can be downloaded from: http://www.apci.net/~ron1701/dlhb.htm There is also an online version at: http://www.apci.net/~ron1701/toc.htm You'll also need a level editor (I haven't found on for Sun yet). A good reference is a link off of the online handbook. (Since there are soo many utilities for working on Doom files, I thought it best to leave it up to the students): http://www.apci.net/~ron1701/g.htm I will let you know more as I find out. Jason
