This page briefly discusses the procedure for printing digital video to video tape using the Radius system. We will assume that we are printing to a VHS tape. Other tape formats should work similar to this except that particular tape format must be substituted when setting the video switcher panel.

1. Be sure the digital video that you want to print to tape is being displayed properly on monitor 2. StudioPlayer works well for this.

2. Set the video switcher in the following sequence:

• OUT Amp/Monitor
• IN Telecast
• OUT S-VHS
• IN Telecast

This allows you to view the video while it is being recorded. Substituting other output devices for S-VHS will allow you to record to any available tape formats.

3. When finished recording, you can return the switcher to the normal settings using the following sequence:

• OUT Telecast
• IN S-VHS
• OUT Amp/Monitor
• IN Telecast

Note: If you get confused by the switcher settings, simply turn the switcher OFF then ON. This will reset it and allow you to start over.
