Getting Your Mail

There are two ways to check the mail server for messages from Eudora:

• You can make Eudora check for mail automatically by activating the "Check for mail every ? minutes" setting under the Configuration command in the Special menu, or
• You can check for mail manually, by selecting Check Mail from the File menu.

For now, use the manual check.

1. Your mail is password protected. The first time you Check Mail, your password will be requested whether you are checking your mail automatically or manually. After you have entered your password, the "Progress" window will appear briefly at the top of the screen showing that an attempt is being made to reach your mail server.
2. If you have no new mail, you will be so notified.
