1. Request the list of lists
   1. Start Eudora and create a new message.
   2. Send the message to: listserv@vtvm1.cc.vt.edu
   3. Leave the subject blank.
   4. In the body enter: list
   5. Turn off your signature if it is selected by clicking the JH
   6. Send the message.
2. Wait a few minutes and check your mail. You should have a message from the vtvm1 listserv.
3. Scroll through the list of lists and find one of interest.
   1. Start Eudora and create a new message.
   2. Send the message to: listserv@vtvm1.cc.vt.edu
   3. Leave the subject blank.
   4. In the body enter: subscribe LIST_NAME YOUR_FIRST_NAME YOUR_LAST_NAME
   5. Turn off your signature if it is turned on.
   6. Send the message.
4. You should now get mail from the list. Some lists are very active while others generate very little mail.
5. If you wish to unsubscribe from the list, address a message as above and put "signoff LIST_NAME" as the only text in the body (omit the "s)
