As discussed for the course background survey, this course has been developed under a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). One of the purposes of the study is to determine how learning can be enhanced and augmented using networked information. Towards this end, a short online survey must be taken at the end of the course to collect data on students' learning. The purpose of the survey is to gauge how much you have learned from the course.
The survey information will be used by the Va Tech and the Computer Science Department to improve the course and to track your learning progress for the NSF funded study. All information will be kept in strictest confidence. Individual information will not be released or reported in any document. Only group statistics will be included in publications dealing with this study.
This survey is NOT a test. It will not affect your grade in this course in any way, unless you fail to take it. The survey will be made available at the end of the course.
