Description
- They do everything!
- Provide training and support to individuals, companies, and schools
- Considered experts in Internetworking, Web Browsers, Web Site Installation, and Maintenance
- Extensive knowledge of HTML, Java, CGI, VRML and some scripting languages such as PERL
- Must be familiar with applications run on the Internet
- Usually hired based on reputation
Education Requirement
- Degree in a technical field such as Engineering, or Computer Science
- Majority of their education come from hands-on experience either from working with a company that uses the Internet, or by self-taught methods
Salary
- Can be paid $25-$100 per hour
- Based on how they market themselves and whether they work for small or large firms on a consulting basis.
