15.6. How to Select a Search System?

What is your criteria for the performance of searching?

There are mainly two aspects:

Bandwidth (Is there enough information we wanted ?)
Speed - latency (Can we get information quickly?)

There are some tradeoff, that means, better bandwith may cause slower speed, and higher speed may leads to narrow bandwidth. However that is not the necessary reason. High intelligency built in a search system can have both better bandwidth and higher speed. Sometimes we need to consider both aspects. Thus we need to chose a better search system to fit our needs.

However there is not an absolutely answer to everyone. Different people may have different judgements or different views to the search systems.
